WHAT WE HAVE ACHIEVED
We're the proud winners of the Local Authority Building Control award for building the Great Tithe Barn at Haselbury Mill near Crewkerne. We were entrusted with constructing the first medieval-style tithe barn in the past 300 years, a contract of over £1 million. The building was chosen out of 65 exemplary entries from across the region to receive the chairman’s award for its “excellent quality, unusual design and for being a structure that is unlikely to be matched for decades to come”.

Rod and his team have carried out various changes for us, which included renewing the kitchen, removing the archway and creating a new room, garage access, and garage internal partitioning to create a storage and utility area, replacing a flat roof for a pitched roof, and a garden patio. Additionally, they provided the groundwork, walls and internal plastering for our conservatory supplier. Rod ensured that the work was done to our satisfaction and that building regulations were followed. The work areas were left reasonably clean at the end of each day. We will ask him to make additional changes we need later in the year.
